Green dashed line indicates the northern and western extent of the Cerros del Rio volcanic field. Blue line indicates western extent of dacitic lavas that were contemporaneous with the basalts. Top of Cerros del Rio basalts formed broad north-trending highland on east side of plateau. This highland is now covered by Bandelier Tuff.
