Structure contours for base of unit indicate that Cerro Toledo filled a broad southeast-trending paleovalley incised into the Otowi Member (see isopach map for Otowi Member in Fig. 16). The thickest Cerro Toledo deposits coincide with the axis of the paleovalley.
