Bedding in the Tesuque Formation dips 11° toward the west-northwest. The pumice-rich volcaniclastic rocks in R-20 dip 5° to the south-southwest. Bedding in both units was rotated during subsidence of the Española basin. Dip azimuth and angles were determined using oriented Formation Microimager logs.
